Shelter/Rescue dogs Photography Tips
Here is the first of my tips for anyone wanting to help out and use their talent for taking photos of rescue dogs .
My number one tip .
1.Natural light ,avoid direct sunlight
Photographing in the great outdoors is the easiest way to achieve great lighting.
Direct sunlight can cause harsh shadows, making one side of the dogs face too bright while the other side is too dark. Best shade is even shade when its sun-dappled it can make the dog look like he has spots LOL ! Overcast & cloudy days are the times to photograph and achieve good even lighting and is always my preferred choice.A good clear image is very important important as your photo will no doubt get the dog a good home much quicker than a bad shot .
