Stafford Rescue Victoria -Can you help?

I am big on giving back to the community and I do so with my photography and my experience as a promotions manager and as an events coordinator.
Stafford Rescue Victoria Inc is a non-profit organization that rehomes abandoned and destitute Staffordshire Bull Terriers.
We have a website www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au and our Facebook page has over 13,000 fans.
Our first priority is the care of these dogs; ensuring all dogs are micro chipped and desexed before they leave our care. We rescue all ages including some needing medical attention other than desexing, our vet bills are huge over $40,000 last year.
All this costs money, therefore we rely heavily on donations from companies to help raise much needed funds .We will happily promote anyone donating to us via our facebook page or if a sponsor via our website .
We have DGR status making all donations over $2 tax deductible.

Its great to get a free listing I am on a few,here is one that has heaps of info on lots of different areas pertaining to photography.

I recently did what they asked and submitted four clients email addresses to get more good reviews.A couple have reviewed my business and a couple haven’t as yet but I know they were very happy with their session ,one has booked again.Do I ring them and ask if they heard from the company or just leave it ? Naturally you can pay for premium listings not sure if they work or not .At the end of the day I am beginning to believe Google is the only way to go when it comes to paying to get more business to your website .

Bindi-Staffordshire Bull Terrier

Here are some images from Bindi’s shoot taken late last year.Bindi is an action dog and there is no doubt about that! Bindi loves the great outdoors; she has no hesitation to jump into any water, loves a stick,loves her ball and as you can see is absolutely stunning. More and more clients are wanting one or two shots with their dog/dogs which I think is really nice ,a year ago most people didn’t want to be included in the sessions.Makes perfect sense to me after all you wouldn’t leave your children out of a family shot would you ?? So happy to say that all of my clients to date think of their dog/dogs as family. My aim is to capture the dog/dogs unique personality so while a good portrait is always included in every session its nice to capture them doing what they love to do .For me its all about giving the owner memories for way into the future and well as present time.This is why I much prefer to work outdoors in natural lighting using various backgrounds at my preferred locations. Occasionally we may do a session somewhere a client may have a particular preference for.

Staffy Smile

I always say you can’t beat a Staffy smile when you are down that smile just melts your heart and the storm clouds go away .

As a pet photographer it is my job to capture all aspects of a pets personality for their owner and there are so many.Most dogs have a sad look and sulky look a happy look and a cheeky look ,like us they don’t have the same expression all day long.Here is what I call a real Staffy smile ,big wide grin showing how happy this pup was to be in the great outdoors having a frolic with other dogs and playing ball.

There is a 3 day event on this weekend at Werribee park.How this one slipped by me I don’t know so it’s too late for media accreditation. I like to get up close and personal which you can’t do without a pass. I actually have heaps on this weekend anyway so sort of worked out well, for those with nothing to do today or tomorrow get along I am sure it will be well worth it .

Has anyone been to a Staffy play day ? They are heaps of fun with no end of entertainment by this confident and extremely cheeky breed. Held in various parks in and around Melbourne they have become very popular with numbers growing.The dogs come in all shapes, sizes, all ages ,Staffy crosses, Staffies and Amstaffs.The dogs run around some do more observing while others just get right into it for the whole 3 hours.Needless to say they all go home pretty pooped with every ounce of energy they have exhausted LOL !
